fundraising tea towels

My friend is fundraising at the moment for cancer research and she has done many things over the past few years to raise money for the cause. One thing she has done recently is to design some fundraising tea towels. When she told me she was doing this I thought it was a really good idea, especially when she explained that she was going to be selling the fundraising tea towels at a jumble sale in aid of the cause. Obviously, fundraising tea towels are something that everybody would be able to afford and also, they are something that would be put to good use in every home. After the jumble sale, she told me that they raised a really good amount for the charity. They had all sorts of different things on sale on the day, from cakes baked my her friends to an auction for a meal at the local restaurant. She has done really well and is really pleased with the result of her efforts. I am really impressed with her imagination and how she always seems to come up with a really good idea to make money for the cause and I think she will go a long way.

I am having a lot of people over to my house on Christmas Day this year and I am really looking forward to it. There will be fifteen of us in all and the day is going to be realy exciting. I have decided to buy all new table decorations for the day and am really planning to go over the top with both the food and the wine. I am going for luxury in a big way with champagne and canapés to begin with followed by smoked salmon and goose with all the trimmings. I have also decided to give everybody a little table present on the day and I have decided to buy some printed tea towels with a personalized message on for each guest so that they can remember our Christmas together every time they user their printed tea towels. When I told my husband about my table presents, he agreed with me that printed tea towels would be an excellent idea to give people as they would not only be something to remember from the day, but they would also be very useful for everyone at home afterwards. I just can`t wait for the big day and just hope that everyone has a great time.

I have recently been looking for some new school wear for my children and trying to find some school wear that does not cost a fortune. My children are only young, aged eight and five, and they are constantly wearing out their school wear so that I feel I am always spending money on clothes for them. Last week I put my daughter in a new pair of tights each day and every evening when I picked her up from school there was a whole in them. By the end of the week that was five pairs of tights I had to throw away. I was almost at the end of my tether with her. Similarly, since the beginning of term, both pairs of my son`s school trousers have got holes in at the knee. Because they are so rough with their clothes, it is really important for me to find clothes for them that are not too expensive and so I have been looking in the high street stores to see if they offer appropriate items at good prices. However, after talking to my friend, she told me that she did not think the quality of these items was that good and that I should buy the items from a more reputable supplier if I wanted to make sure that the clothes last.

Hey Dexter, look at my new Book Bag. It has reflective strips, re-enforced corners, to help protect the books in my bag, a name tag and inside the Book Bag there is pocket so I can keep my dinner money safe. I had a choice of a yellow Book Bag, a red Book Bag, an emerald Book Bag, a royal Book Bag, a purple Book Bag, a brown Book Bag, a navy Book Bag, a burgundy Book Bag, a bottle Book Bag or a black Book Bag, I chose the red Book Bag as this is my school colour and it matched my school uniform. My Book Bag helps to keep all my books and home work safe and dry as it is waterproof, just as well now the winter is here. Mum also likes my Book Bag as it is very strong and long lasting, which helps to save her money as they are only from £1.95. There are lots of other bags to choose from as well. My brother is in the junior school so he has a junior backpack, my mum say’s when I am at the junior school she will buy me a junior backpack as well. I can’t wait to be big like my brother so I can go to the junior school and wear the same school uniform as him. My brother is looking forward to going to the big school; I wonder what school bag and school uniform he will have then.
